When I returned from my winter in Florida, Adam was my first Senior Session of the Spring. Being in Michigan, I was a little concerned about the lack of color in the early Spring-but we braved the Michigan spring anyway!
Everything was incredibly beautiful! Adam is a very outdoorsy person. He was an Eagle Scout and knew the Kalamazoo Nature Center very well. He told me stories of trouncing around there for his growing up years.
I never imagined all of the hills and streams and such landscape in this area! I could also tell that walking the flats of Florida did not prepare me for steep up hill climbs and downhill terrain!
Of course Adam had no problem with our trek through the woods-I enjoyed every moment sharing in Adam’s excitement of the great outdoors. This was a place that was very special to him.
Not only is Adam a lover of nature-he has a whole lists of interests. We tried to capture some of them on camera. Painting was another of his passions. He has an eye for the beautiful!
After leaving the Nature Center, we headed to the Ball Field to meet up with his siblings for a quick shot. While his little brother finished up an inning, Adam showed me a dug out he had painted and lettered for an Eagle Scout project. I was very impressed!
Adam’s family means a lot to him. It was great to catch this moment in time for them.
Our last stop was a garage that he and his buddies had converted to a weight lifting gym. This was a new experience for me and I loved the way they turned out!
Thank you Adam for an amazing afternoon. I know God will use all of your interests and your passion for the things you do. I can’t wait to see what your future holds!
